the amazing maurice and his educated rodents - terry pratchett, cried my heart out when hamnpork died :(

georgia nicholson series, i can’t choose one of these, they all make me laugh, and they’re just nice easy books, that you can just read and be reminded of simpler times

okay so there’s no deep philosophical books here…they are all childrens books technically…i just have fonder memories of these books :)

but we can add a song of ice and fireto the list as well, just because i haven’t got to the point in the series where GRR Martin goes on a killing spree, and everything is still just aboutttt okayy..i’m less than half way through clash of kings so don’t spoil anything for me..

couldn’t even be bothered updating about the bus pass situation, its been far too stressful

thursday i was just so exhausted i came in, got my pyjamas on and curled up in a ball under a blanket on the sofa, despite the fact i was starving. i just didn’t care anymore. but i did get gf fish finger butties out of it so it’s all good on that front (Y)

anyway, arriva say my pass is on its way, but when you use the royal mail track and trace system, or one of them..because for some reason there’s two…on one it says it’s on its way, and on the other the number isn’t recognised as per last week. so mum phoned the track and trace ‘hotline’ whilst i was at my seminar, and they said to give it until saturday, and then get back in touch with arriva ¬_¬ because theyyy have to report it lost, otherwise i won’t get my money back, this is just a complete, unbelievable, farce and a half

A little late night Harry Potter surprise fun. Saw this dress and immediately thought Hedwig. I wish it wasn’t $6,500. And I wish I had somewhere to wear it. lol

I applied for an illustrating position at my university newspaper. I’m practicing working with Adobe Illustrator. My plan is to become proficient with Illustrator so that, if I choose, I may draw my work on paper and scan it or simply draw it on my laptop. This is about 4 hours work. I’m definitely way faster on paper than laptop, however, there are certain things I can do on Illustrator that I cannot readily do on paper. Yet another reason why I want to be better with Illustrator, even if I don’t get the newspaper job.

Anyway, I thought up this idea the other day and was going to draw it, but realized that it would be the perfect project to try on Illustrator! Enjoy!
